Staff Highlight: Meet Melissa Evans!
What position do you hold in the building? I am the Secretary to the Principal (We all know she wears way more hats than just that one!)
What's something interesting about you? I have lived on the same farm my entire life. We have cows, chickens, pigs, ducks, a goat, dog, and cat. My husband and I met and started dating while attending LHS in the late 80's (that tells my age)
What is something most people don't know about you? During my junior and senior year at LHS, I was on the field hockey team and we won states both years!
What do you like to do in your free time? My family loves to go camping. One of our favorite trips is to the National Apple Harvest Festival in Adams County, PA. Whenever I have free time, I love to go for a run.
What's your favorite thing about being a staff member at LHS? My favorite part about being a staff member at LHS is the students and staff. My position has afforded me opportunities to see first hand how we as a staff come together and support one another, and our community. For example during the holidays, our staff and students adopt LHS families in need, providing them with food and gifts.
Anything else you'd like to share? I truly feel blessed to have worked at LHS for over 20 years.
We would love to "highlight" each of you at some point throughout the year! Please click here to tell us a little about yourself.
