Description

Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum longer than infrared light. Radio waves have frequencies from 300 GHz to as low as 3 kHz, and corresponding wavelengths ranging from 1 millimeter (0.039 in) to 100 kilometers (62 mi). Short waves travel throughout the skyline bouncing off different layers of the ionosphere at different times of the day, which makes the signal time lag different for every signal wave. Long waves travel by the ground waves that hug the surface of the earth.

Everday Applications

The most use for everyday applications is a cellular device and television network system. Both of those materials sends radio waves to the main source and help maintain the different devices to work.

Positives (Health Impacts)

Radio equipment at temporary radio stations set up signals to send out waves for emergency situations following whether conditions. Also, radio waves are a lot similar to the x-rays which is a positive because it helps figure out people injuries to different situations.

Negative (Health Impacts)

When you send signal waves from the radio it can cause some brain damage to your brain. It has been proven that the radio waves have broke down tissue in the DNA, which causing people to have different diseases. Exposures to radio waves have been unofficially linked to sleep disorders, headaches, and other neurological problems. Claims that cell phones promote “radio wave sickness” have propagated through society for years. Associated illnesses include multiple sclerosis, depression, autism, and a slew of other common ailments.

Radio Waves

This article explain that Clinton is against the loud radio waves because it is damaging people minds when they signal bad waves. Also, Kris Krauthammer said that the radio has no effect to our society and does not benefit to the United States. He is trying to persuade the people that television and music is not important to us and should be gone from our society.
