Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was the King of Rock n' Roll. Over 45 of his records sold over a million copies; Including "Heartbreak Hotel", "Hound Dog", "All Shook Up", "Don't Be Cruel" and "Burning Love". He was one of the most popular musicians of the 20th century. He started his career in 1954. His first single "Heartbreak Hotel" was released in January of 1956.
Rock n' Roll
Elvis was apart of this Rock n' Roll music. Rock n' Roll was a name that has come to mean that music is both black and white; It's American. It was developed in the late 1940s but did not acquire its name until the 1950s. It was a combination of African American Blues, Jump Blues, Country Jazz, and Gospel Music
