Nuclear energy
Nuclear energy helps us have energy for lights, stoves, and other appliances. Nuclear energy doesn't give off any pollution, except when a pipe breaks, nuclear waste pollute the air.
Advantages and Disadvantages
- DISADVANTAGES:
- Nuclear reactors are expensive to run
- Nuclear waste is highly toxic and needs to be safely stored for hundreds or thousands of years
- Leakage of nuclear materials can have a disadvantage impact on people and the environment
- ADVANTAGES:
- A small amount of radioactive material produces a lot of energy
- Raw materials are relatively cheap and can last quite a long time
- It doesn't give off atmospheric pollutants
Where nuclear energy is found most abundantly and Harmful effects
Kazakhstan
This is where Nuclear Energy is found most abundantly in the world
Power Plants
The U.S generates the most nuclear power. We have the most nuclear power plants and the most power.
Nuclear reactions
Gas from the nuclear power plants is sometimes harmful if something goes wrong. If an animal drinks any water around the power plants, of if a human gets to close without a mask and a protective suit.
