The mission of Longfellow Elementary School
Walk-a-thon results
Mrs. Teslaw's class collected the most so they will get to choose my hair color for a day. Rumor has it I will be sporting a rainbow-colored head. Mrs. Thompson's class finished in 2nd place with Mrs. Buchholz's class holding off third place. They will get to choose my nail color for the day.
We are so fortunate to have such a marvelous PTO which sponsors events like this. A special thank you to all the people that made this happen.
Alex's Lemonade Stand
Alex's Lemonade Stand was started by a child who had cancer. She wanted to raise money so doctors could find a cure since only 4% of funding goes to childhood cancer. We want to help this great cause.
Longfellow staff and some students will be selling lemonade all next week near the playground/bike rack area from 3-3:30pm. Each glass is $1 and donations will also be accepted. If your child is in FYC they will also be able to participate as FYC has agreed to bring them over to the stand. We hope you can help us out in this worthwhile venture.

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
Please help us with our daily attendance by calling the school if your child is absent or will be leaving school early. By calling the school we are able to insure that your child is safe and accounted for each day.
Please call the office ( 446-5051) or email Patty Edlund at edlunpa@fargo.k12.nd.us.
If your child arrives at school after the bell rings at 8:30AM, they will need to stop at the office to get a tardy slip before going to the classroom.
