Happy Valentine's Day From All Of Us!
Dear Families,
Happy February Vacation Week! I hope you and your families have a splendid time together. Here’s to spending a lot less time on a device!
COVID-19 Updates
Thank you to the families who have already signed up for COVID-19 Pool Testing. My letter from earlier this week can be found here. The district has also developed a School-Based Pool Testing Frequently Asked Questions document. If you have other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Carol Bradford, school nurse, or me. We anticipate doing some testing right after February vacation week and then fully by the week after that. The testing is free. Students will not be tested without your permission.
Click here to give permission for your child(ren) to participate in pool testing.
Also, as a precaution against the new variants, the CDC has issued new guidance recommending the use of double masks or N95 quality masks.
I know you’ve heard these, but we can never stress often enough what we need to do to keep our community safe from COVID-19. First, of course, the 3Ws -- Wash Your Hands, Wear a Mask, Watch Your Distance. In addition, recommendations include: limiting the size of any gathering, limiting get-togethers to only people who live together or to a small group of individuals with whom you are regularly in contact, and avoiding travel. As a reminder, if you are planning to leave MA, you must follow the MA Travel Order.
STEMtastic Challenge from the L-S Robotics Team
Our students and their families are invited to participate in the February STEM challenge presented by the Lincoln-Sudbury High School Robotics Team. If you are looking for a fun and engaging activity this February break, please check out this challenge.
Warmly,
Annette Doyle
