CAST STEM Principal's Weekly Update
November 7, 2021
CAST STEM families,
We had a wonderful week at CAST STEM. We honored those we have lost with an ofrenda in the front lobby (see picture). Our seniors took senior portraits, learned about FAFSA from Palo Alto College Connections team, received college advising from the San Antonio Education Partnership, took the ASVAB exam, and networked at the CAST Network job fair. Three students earned an invitation to work with the CAST Network as interns this year. We are very proud of all of our scholars and leaders.
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors took fall pictures this week and 9th grade families attended a Graduation Requirements meeting to design their path to graduation.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Hansel and Gretel and the SA BEST Robotics team who performed this week. Next week our first ever Academic Decathlon team competes in Sinton, TX. Good luck to all of our scholars!
Please review this newsletter all the way to the end as we included scholarship opportunities, career planning and college access resources for FAFSA/TAFSA.
Have a great week!
In gratitude,
Ravae V. Shaeffer
