Ticket Proceeds Fund one-five Foundation Initiatives

The one-five Foundation's annual giving campaign is directed at funding two important initiatives: Blessings in a Backpack and outfitting every school library with flexible seating. Proceeds from every ticket will directly benefit these initiatives!

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Currently there are 700 students in District 15 who benefit from this program, with 1,700 more in need.

Flexible Seating in School Libraries

Most of our school library spaces haven't been updated in more than 25 years. In 2020, library spaces are intended for more than just reading and research. School libraries are now used for a variety of collaborative and creative activities. The large, heavy furniture outfitting District 15 library spaces makes these activities cumbersome and difficult. The one-five Foundation is raising funds to replace the furniture in every D15 school library.
