Christian Holidays

  1. Christmas- When Jesus Christ was born. Mary (as a Virgin) gave birth to baby Jesus. The Northern Star (Star of Bethlehem) led 3 wise men (which each one brought a gift for the new baby) to the Barn which baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph were staying.
  2. Easter (Passover)- When Jesus Christ arose from the dead, after the people of Calvary made him carry a cross to the top of a hill to be nailed to it, to get whipped death. After Jesus told everyone He was the son of god, and that they should follow him...They thought he was inpersonating a prophet. He was put in a tomb after he died and then the people slid a big bolder over the door. In the morning when Mary came to bring spices to him to rub his body with the spices and oil (religous ceremony). When she came to the tomb, the bolder was shattered and she saw his spirit as he walked toward the town of Calvary.
