Michelangelo's work
The statue of David
Created in the 1500 from 1501 to 1504, I can be found in the Galleria dell'Accademia in florence, Italy. It's hight is 13 feet and 5 inches. This piece showed basic human form in many ways. I think the most interesting in how he seems to be standing on dirt with a tree stump next to him. This show humanism with focusing on the body of a man not a god.
