A Message from the Principal!

Mrs. Thompson's 1st 9 wk Quarterly Report @Ethridgees

Ethridge Elementary:

“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.” Steve Maraboli

A Wonderful First 9 weeks ends!

Teachers are in the midst of fall parent conferences, so make sure you get signed up now! This is our chance to really connect with each and every one of our parents to discuss the common bond that brings us together---your child! Thank you for helping us continue the learning at home by encouraging your child to read independently and/or with you each night. Statistics show students make incredible growth in reading and math when home and school support each other!

Remember, Report cards for the 1st 9 week period will be available online by Thursday, with printed copies sent home if requested in Skyward at the beginning of the year.

FUN RUN Campaign is a BIG Success!

Thank you, thank you for all of your hard work and support in raising funds for our 2016-17 FUN RUN so that we can continue to provide our students the best educational environment and experiences possible! This year's focus is improving our out-dated Art Room with new supplies, equipment and storage! In addition to supporting additional field trips, we are also able to pursue a mounted projector for special functions/presentations with a home theater type system for scrolling messages, pictures, and videos that students and parents can see as they eat lunch. None of this would be possible with out your efforts at raising the necessary funds!

News from the Nurse!

As the weather is changing please be sure to dress your children appropriately for the temperatures and whatever activities are scheduled to take place. If it is warm in the mornings be sure to send them with a jacket for recess in case of weather changes during the day. Athletic type/closed toed shoes are a must for PE and the safety of all the little feet on the playground!

Along with the jacket weather we often see an increase in the spread of head lice. A skylert will go out soon with an attached lice info. sheet that the district has asked we send out to all parents. Please remind your students not to share jacket, or hats and to take home jackets and hats on the weekends to be washed. These practices help prevent the spread of lice.

Stay healthy and happy as the holidays approach!
