*Food for the Teacher Meal for Feb 11th Conferences-
Please help us provide a Soup, Salad, and Sandwich meal for Teachers during Conferences on February 11th. Click on the Google Docs link below and sign up for any items you can bring to the Teacher meal. If you are unable to bring an item but would like to provide a cash donation to purchase the food, please provide your donation to Shawn Carlson in the JSA office by Friday February 7th and we will put it towards the meal.

*Hearing Van Volunteers-
We need volunteers on Thursday Feb 20 @ 9am-12n & 12n-3:30pm to escort students to the Hearing Van . If interested please contact Leah Ferring at LFerring@crschools.us
*Discovery Day Helpers-

How to Register: Do you currently have a student(s) attending a Cedar Rapids school?
YES - Please use your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to register your Kindergartener for 2020-2021.If you need assistance setting up your parent portal account, please call 558-2570 or contact your school.
NO - Please go to the Cedar Rapids Community School website at http://www.cr.k12.ia.us/schools/how-to-enroll/ to register your Kindergartener for 2020-2021 and welcome to the district!
*Your child will be eligible to enroll in kindergarten if they will be turning 5 years old on or before September 15, 2020

Kindergarten Registration Open House on Thursday, February 27th
from 8am-5pm at the Educational Leadership and Support Center (located at 2500 Edgewood Rd N.W.) Spanish, Swahili, French and Nepali Interpreters will be available.
Alternative Kindergarten Information: Our Alternative Kindergarten Program is based on student screenings. To set up a screening for your child, you must enroll them in kindergarten and then set up a time for their screening online. Save the DATES!
1)The JSA PTA monthly meeting on Monday, February 10th in the JSA Gallery. We will work to have a 30-40 minute meeting so that committees have time to work after that. Please plan to attend if at all possible.
2) The second event is the very next night Tuesday, February 11th, where PTA will be providing meals for the February Parent-Teacher Conferences and will be a Soup, Salad, and Sandwich theme! Please take a look at the Google Docs link below and sign up for any items you can bring. If possible, please try to have the prepared items dropped off around 4 PM on Tuesday, February 11th. Items that do not require preparation can be dropped off any time that day. If you are unable to bring an item in, but would like to provide a cash donation to purchase the food, please provide your donation to Shawn Carlson in the JSA office by Friday February 7th and we will put it towards the meal.
