President's Meeting

Hey Everyone!

Don't forget there is a President's Meeting on Monday, March 16th, 2015 at 4:30 pm in SU203. If you can't make it, be sure to send a representative in your place.


CU Premiere

There is an involvement Fair on Saturday, March 28th from 12:40 pm to 1:15 pm. This Involvement Fair is mandatory, and you must be set up by 12:30 pm. If you can't make it, a representative of your club must be there and remember, your booth must be interactive!


Elections / New Presidents

New Presidents must be chosen by the end of March!

A new Presidents agreement and the continuation form for the club must be completed by April 1st, 2015. These forms can be found on the blackboard cite!

Community Foundation of Orange

The Community Foundation of Orange's is hosting a 2 day track meet for Elementary & Middle School students who go to school in the city of Orange. People are needed on Friday, April 17th and Saturday April 18th. The shifts are as follows:

Monday, April 13th - 4:15 pm to 7 pm (Practice)

Friday, April 17th - 8 am to 12 pm (Set Up)

Friday, April 17th - 4 pm to 9 pm (Middle School Meet)

Saturday, April 18th - 7:30am to 5:30 pm (ALL DAY)

Saturday, April 18th - 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

Saturday, April 18th - 11:30 am to 4:30 pm

Saturday, April 18th - 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

All volunteers receive a t-shirt, a food voucher, and snacks and water during the games!

Service Hour Verification will be completed at the end of each shift.

- OC Rescue Chili Van - March 12th, 2015 - 3:45 pm to 7:00 pm (10 people limit)

- Ronald McDonald House - April 14th - 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (limit of ~7 people)

Club Events

International Students Tailgate and SHOUT

Global Citizens Club is collaborating with ABBEYwest to get international students involved with Shout. During the tailgate, the students will wear traditional clothes from their country, and those who have traveled abroad will bring wardrobes from countries they have visited.

There will be music, dancing, pizookies, and hot beverages.

Date, Time, Location: March 12th, 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm for the tailgate, and SHOUT starts at 9:30 pm in front of the CU Center.

CERT - Concordia University Irvine Community Emergency Response Team

Enactus is partnering up with Campus Safety

CERT members are trained in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. You will learn how to prepare for emergencies; what supplies you should NOW have in your house, how much food, how much water but most importantly, how to protect your family in an emergency!

To become fully CERTified, students have to attend all four sessions.

COMM-Unity and Delta Sigma Pi Networking Mixer

Learn how to network and socialize with business professionals and peers on March 19th at 7 pm in RPC.

Fundraising Opportunity

I Can Do That, this summer's biggest new variety show, is like combining The Voice, America's Got Talent, andDancing with the Stars. The show challenges celebrities to learn a variety act and then perform it in front of a live studio audience. The show is hosted by Marlon Wayans and features celebrity contestants like Joe Jonas, Cheryl Burke, Ciara and more!

If you have a group of 10 people or more, OCA is offering a fundraiser of $30 per person to attend!
