Front Office Updates
We have completed beginning of year assessments and are ready to go! The Pelham Staff has been working so hard to make school safe and engaging for our students. They really have been going above and beyond more than usual. Please take some time to thank a teacher! They deserve it! The Amazing PTO brought in a Treat Cart on Tuesday to show their appreciation! Thank you PTO!
Counseling Corner
It has been wonderful being back in school and seeing all the students smiling faces and helping to support their transition back into the school year.
Pelham will be welcoming a new counseling intern this week, Hanna Vaughn, who will be working with our teachers and students to provide additional social emotional support in our classrooms. Hanna and Abby who are both interns, will also be more available to meet with students 1:1 for additional emotional support.
The next step for our counseling team is to start lunch bunch groups, which students have greatly enjoyed in the past. With such a robust counseling team this year, our goal is to give every single Pelham student the opportunity to meet in small groups and work on positive social skills. After so much time spent in remote learning last year, we believe it is a huge benefit to our students to be able to practice socialization in a small group setting. If this is something you do not wish for your student to take part in please let me know
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you feel your student could benefit from any additional emotional support nardizzij@arps.org.
Be well,
Jess Nardizzi

Safety and Masks
Recess: Pelham Teachers remind students to wear their mask if they are going to be close to one another (on the structure), discourage students from being on top of one another (wrestling, etc), and ask students to have one student on the tire swing at a time. Two max if they have masks on.
Updates from the Superintendent, Mike Morris
