Attendance Reminders

If a student will be absent, please call or email the front office at mvasquez@hfcsfw.org and your child's Homeroom Teacher to let the know. Homework requests must be emailed to your child's teacher by 11:00am.


AUTOMATED ATTENDANCE EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS - RenWeb will generate an attendance notification for all student absences in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade at 10:00am. You may check the status of this absence as to Excused or Unexcused by logging into your RenWeb Parents Web account. Go to Student Information then Attendance.

Diocesan Volleyball Team

Congratulations to Mary Ellen Price for earning a spot on the Diocesan Volleyball team. Over 50 students tried out for the team and only a select few made the team!

Sports For Reminder

If your student is going to participate in sports this school year the forms below need to be completed and returned to me. An annual sports physical must be completed and returned to the school (Please have your PCP complete the Diocesan form). If your child had a physical after June 1, no new physical is necessary.

7th and 8th Grade Volleyball

Alright parents it's time for another fun year of sports. Kim and I are excited to be coaching this years 8th grade VB team. There will be 11 players this year. Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:45 in the gym.


Your student MUST have a returned physical to start practice next week. Please send your student with water, change of clothes, knee pads and a snack. Just a reminder that it is very important that your student come to practices in order to play in the games. I do not have a game schedule yet. At the end of practice we will bring the kids to the front of the gym for pick-up. Staying in accordance with our safety procedures we will have the gym doors locked. Parents, if you want to coach sports this school year, you must attend the training from 8am-12pm at Nolan Catholic High School's Library. Please follow the link below to register for the training. Once you have registered, please send me an email letting me know. If you are a coach and need to renew your training please send me an email as well.


Parents/Guardians whose first time student will be participating in sports for the first time in the Diocese will need to attend the Play Like a Champion workshop at Nolan Catholic High School in the arena from 3pm-4pm on August 27th. Follow the link below to register...

Diocesan Sailing Team for 7th and 8th Graders

Very exciting news, there will be a Diocesan Sailing Team this school year! Please see the details below:

Diocesan Sailing Team

  • 7th and 8th ONLY …learn to SAIL along Nolan Catholic Vikings!
  • Co-Ed; No experience needed!
  • Lifelong sport, college opportunities, fosters teamwork
  • 7th grade may only learn skills and practice with the team
  • 8th grade may compete in Regattas!
  • Fall and Spring Season Options Available
    • Labor Day-Thanksgiving
    • End of February- May
  • Equipment provided; Nolan owns 12 boats!
  • Practices held at Fort Worth Boat Club on Eagle Mountain Lake
  • Practices twice a week Wednesdays, 4p-6p and Saturdays, AM or PM weather depending
  • Competitions are local and destination (Past travel locations have been Austin, Houston, New Orleans)
  • Participation Fee: $125 per session via FACTS + any travel expenses for families to attend meets

Diocesan Youth Flag Football

If your child would like to participate in Youth Flag Football, please see the information below:

K-6th Youth Flag Football


  • Program will be run through Nolan Football Coaches
  • Rolling league format (no assigned team); may be co-ed
  • League will be held on Saturday mornings at Nolan Catholic starting August 27th-September 24th 8am-10am
  • Age appropriate skills and drill followed by games
  • Fee of $100 charged through school FACTS

Holy Family Catholic Community

Children's and Youth Choirs

The Holy Family Children’s and Youth Choirs will begin their rehearsals on Wednesday, September 7th. Mrs. Matthews, who helps the cantors at our weekly School Masses, is the director.


Each choir sings once a month at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturdays. The Children’s Choir is for children who can read without help through the 6th grade. The Youth Choir is for grades 7 and up.

Altar Server Training

Does your 4th through 8th grade student want to become an altar server?


HFCS students must attend a parish training in order to serve at school and parish Masses.

The next Altar Server Training will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24, at 10:00a.m.
