Why minerals important to me?

Minerals are very important to me, because they help the body develop, grow, and remain healthy. The human body uses minerals to perform many different necessary functions. Minerals help the body build strong bones, help transmit nerve impulses, and some minerals even make hormones and help to maintain a normal heartbeat. There are two main types of minerals that our bodies need. They are trace minerals and macro-minerals. The body only needs small amounts of trace minerals, but it needs large amounts of macro-minerals. Some macro-minerals include, calcium, magnesium, chloride, and sulfur.
