Safety Services Department Recognized at Board Meeting

Dr. Gregory J. Pilewski recognized Chief Hayward Finks, Director of Safety Services; Sgt. Chauncey Sims, School Resource Office; and Mr. Vincent Eubanks, Crisis Intervention Technician; for their leadership in presenting on various topics around safety to administrators and staff ahead of the start of the new school year

After the Board of Education approved the Superintendent's proposal to reorganize the Safety Services Department, Chief Finks hit the ground running to build the department and to put the right people in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Testing Data Presented to the Board

Mrs. Yaa Appiah-McNulty, the Coordinator of Accountability, Assessment, and Data Management, presented ACT, Advanced Placement, and ACT Aspire results to the Board of Education. The results provide the roadmap for administrators to provide support to students and teachers to achieve

Future Board Meetings

The North Little Rock Board of Education will hold a Board Workshop on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. The Board will also hold a Special Board Meeting and Board Workshop on Thursday, September 1, 2022. All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in the Boardroom in the Administration Building, located at 2400 Willow Street.
