Lori also has a BS in Biology from Wofford College. Lori is looking forward to having a GREAT year at Lewis Greenview and getting to know all the students, parents and staff.

Mr. Sweeper-Media Assistant

You might have seen Mr.Sweeper around the Media Center last Spring. We are excited to announce that he has been hired long-term as the Media Assistant as Lewis Greenview. Mr.Sweeper will split his time between Lewis Greenview and Burton Pack.

The mission of the Lewis Greenview Library Media Program is to help faculty, staff, and students become effective users of ideas, information, and technology, encourage a love of reading with all users, support the curriculum, meet the information needs of the school community, and prepare students to be successful in the 21st Century.

Media Center Schedule

Library hours are from 7:15-2:45 on school days. Every class is scheduled to visit the media center on a weekly basis. However, students with a pass may visit the library throughout the day, for checkout.

The media center does have some flex hours, especially at the beginning of the week. During this time, teachers may bring their students to the LCM to use the computers for educational purposes. Please contact Ms. Willis-Richards for more information.

Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grades check out one book per week. Students in grades 2-4 may check out two books at a time and 5th graders may check out three books at a time. Renewals on material are possible. Students may check out older magazines issues for one week. Students with over due, lost or damaged books will not be able to check out new material until fines are paid or books are returned.
