In celebration of a program SGMN host called Girls Fly! (Girlsfly.org) you will appreciate the image for 2014. See it at the very very very bottom of this flyer :-).
Between here and the very very very bottom of this flyer you will get a glimpse at the power of women and girls on SGMN. You shine!

Show Description: I believe that we are born twice. One is our biological birth and other is our psychological birth. Our psychological birth is very important because at that point we decide to be a human with humanity or not. I’m proud that I chose to be a human with humanity. The psychological birth is only impossible, once we are educated enough to choose what we want to be.
Monica from Bangladesh
Show Title: Parenting Worldwide
1. Women of Bangladesh – In spite of the atrocities and discrimination that Bangladeshi women face every day, they are surging ahead with their resilience and yet, they have received minimal global recognition. As a media professional, I have covered enough of the tragedies. I now want to shed light on some of the marvelous things that Bangladeshi women are achieving in every field you can imagine. My aim is to inspire other women through the stories of Bangladeshi women.
2. Parenting Worldwide – Only a few months ago, Bangladesh remained disturbed as the gruesome murder of both the parents by their daughter Oishee Rahman unfolded in the news. There is a growing communication gap between parents and children. While it does not always lead to cold-blooded murders, it does adversely impact the bonding between parents and children. I aim to invite both parents and teenagers to discuss the insecurities as well as the innumerable joys that define this unique relationship between parents and children.
