HELP IN CAR LINE!

  • PARENTS/GUARDIANS - PLEASE DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE. The car line is getting backed up significantly because of parents/guardians getting out of their cars and walking around to let their child out, get backpacks, etc.
  • PLEASE have your student ready to exit the car ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE when you pull up. This keeps your student SAFE and it keeps the car line moving.
  • You could also help us by pulling as far forward as possible so we can get as many cars in as possible.
  • If you would like the opportunity to walk your student into the building to get them ready for the day, you can park in the fairgrounds parking lot and walk your student into the building.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

Late Bus? How Late? LOOK!

Our BCSC Transportation Dept. has asked we remind you, should your bus not arrive on time please view the BCSC Transportation website for possible delay information. LATE BUS SITE - Buses that run 15+minutes late will be posted and will share the approximate time it is running late. Keep in mind, because they don't want your child/children left waiting, when possible they may ask other buses in your area to assist your late bus. It is recommended you continue to watch for a big yellow bus at all times! CLICK HERE FOR LATE BUS INFORMATION or You can find delay information under the BCSC website: Click on Parents-Transportation-Bus Delays on the right.

PreK & Kindergarten Enrollment

It is that time of year again. Do you have a student turning 4 by August 1st? Did you know BCSC offers PreK at most of our elementary schools? Please see the flyer below for more information on how to enroll your child.

Kindergarten Round Up is scheduled to begin the week of March 7th. We will have one evening opportunity to sign up students turning 5 before August 1st and then office hours from 8:00 - 3:30 for enrollment.

If you have a child you feel would benefit for early Kindergarten enrollment you can view the application materials online beginning Feb. 1st. The deadline to turn in applications for early Kindergarten enrollment is April 1st. This is only for students younger than 5 by August 1st.

From the Nurse's Office...

Dear Parents,
It looks like we are finally starting to see Winter temperatures. With that being said, our students still go outside for recess every day when the temperature and wind chill are above 20 degrees. Please make sure that your child comes to school with appropriate winter apparel every day. If they do not wear their winter coat to school they will not be permitted out to recess. If your child does not have a winter coat, please contact me at 812-376-4426.

Thank you for all of your help with trying to keep our students healthy.
