Gaga Pit Update

We are pennies from the Pit!! Thank you so much for your support in helping to make this dream a reality. The students are so proud of the work they have done in raising the funds and grateful for your financial commitment. While the Spirit Committee has planned several more fundraisers for the spring, they will be focusing these on raising funds for other worthwhile projects. Check out the March Flyer for a complete breakdown of the Pit Project.

News From the Nest

Doyle’s Dunking 3-on-3 Tournament

Doyle is having a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders at Doyle Elementary on March 15 from 6 to 9 PM. Each team will have four players and the players will substitute every minute of a five-minute game. The fee for a team to enter the tournament will be 12 dollars per team. There will be two games going at once - one on each half of the basketball court in the Doyle gym. The tournament will be two-out elimination. The first time a team loses they will go to the losers bracket, and if they lose there they are out. At the tournament there will also be a snack stand selling pretzels and water. All proceeds from the tournament will go toward the construction of a new Gaga Pit for Doyle. Listen to the daily announcements for information on how to sign up. So lace up your basketball shoes, and help build a Gaga Pit for Doyle!
