24 Hour quiet Hours are in effect!

Shuttle & Parking Update

The Goddard Memorial lot will be closing for the semester on Saturday, May 9th at 10am. If you are a resident student with an RG decal, please plan to move your vehicle by Saturday at 10am to the University parking garage floors 4, 5, 6. Access to the parking garage will be available through Residence hall closing on Friday, May 15th.

The shuttle will no longer be running as of Saturday, May 9th at 12pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Parking and Transportation at 508-929-8044.

Need a Cart?

Go to the DH Game Room

Mon - May 4th to Wed – May 6th 9:30am-11pm

Thur - May 7th to Thur – May 14th 9am-11pm

Fri - May 15th 9am-2pm

Note: The last check out time for a cart will be one half hour before closing and cart must be returned by closing.

Residence Hall Closing Procedures:

As the semester is coming to an end it is time to review the closing procedures for May 2015. All residence hall students except for graduating seniors and those being employed by the Student Center or Residence Life must vacate their room 24 hours after their last final examination.

Students with final exams on Friday, May 15, 2015 must vacate their rooms by 5:00 p.m. that afternoon.

Seniors who need to request housing through graduation should complete the attached Senior Housing Request form on or before Sunday, May 10, 2015. Graduating seniors who request to stay through commencement must vacate their rooms by 5 p.m. on Saturday May 16th.

Check out locations and Times:

Chandler Village residents check out from the CV RA office near the CV laundry room. Wasylean Hall, Sheehan Hall, Dowden Hall residents check out at the front desk within their respective buildings.

Check out times:

Weekdays May 7-May 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday May 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday May 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Students who fail to check out with a residence life staff member will be assessed a $50.00 improper check out fee.

Please note that room inspections will be completed after closing. Your room should resemble the condition it was in when you arrived. All possessions must be removed from the room. Students will be charged a $25 fee per bag of trash removed from rooms.

Dinning Closing Schedule

Java in Wasylean hall- last day opened will be May 5th.
Food court in Student Center- last day opened will be May 5th.
Starbucks at LRC- last day opened will be May 13th.
C-Store in Dowden hall- 3pm-11pm on May 13th-14th (closed on May 15th)
Woo Café in Sullivan- last day opened will be May 15th (closing at 3pm).

POD Dining Hall in Sheehan hall- last day opened will be May 15th (closing at 3pm). The dining hall will remain closed for two weeks while repairs are made from the broken pipes over the winter. Expected re-opening is June 1st. Summer hours of operation are 8am-2pm Monday - Friday. These hours may be extended when feeding groups.

Ditch The Dumpster

Accumulate more stuff you can deal with? Stuff you don't want any more? Stuffy you don't have space for? Donate or recycle it! All proceeds will go towards hydration stations on campus!

Donation bins will be in every Chandler Building and on all floors of Dowden, Sheehan & Wasylean Hall!

Fall 2015- Spring 2016 Resident Parking Application

If you are interested in applying for a resident student parking permit, please complete the link below. All resident student parking permit applications are due by Friday, July 31. 2015.

Fall 2015- Spring 2016 Resident Parking Application

All parking permits will be distributed by the number of academic credit hours completed, with the highest number of credit hours completed granted the opportunity to purchase a parking decal first. Anyone who applies after the July 31, 2015deadline, will be placed on a waiting list in the date order we received the application, regardless of number of academic credit hours completed. Please note that it is very unlikely that anyone entering as a first year student will be approved to purchase a parking decal.

You will be notified if you have been approved after the July 31st deadline, by email at your worcester.edu address.

The Summer Housing Application is now available!

Please note that only residents with a fall 2015 room assignment will be allowed to stay through Intersession II. All other summer residents will be required to check out of their summer assignment on Friday, August 14, 2015 by 5 pm.
