Swimmer of the Month: Cheryl Reinke

Cheryl Reinke is a remarkable athlete and accomplished open water expert. Cheryl went to the USMS National 10K Open Water Championships at Lake George, NY and came back a National Champion and All American Open Water Swimmer! Although Cheryl lives in Rockhill, she competes for Greenville Splash! And of course we love her for this!! Cheryl is a legend in open water swimming. Her technique and stamina is outstanding. She volunteers and organizes group swims at Lake Wylie for the love of the sport. She started with just a few swimmers but now has over 40-50 swimmers participating weekly. She coaches and helps open water swimmers of all abilities with her sound advice and warm words of encouragement.
