Remind 101 App- As you may be aware, Remind is an app used by educators for the purpose of communicating in a public forum with their students and for providing reminders & updates. We would like to make you aware that on January 28th, Remind notifications via text messaging will cease for any users with Verizon service. This change is due to an increase in fees charged by Verizon to Remind. While our staff members typically use several reliable ways to communicate with students and vital information is shared in class, Remind is a valuable tool for enhancing communications.
Remind has communicated two FREE ways in which Verizon users can keep receiving messages:
1. Smartphone: Download the FREE Remind app and enable push notifications from Remind on your phone.
2. Computer: Go to remind.com and turn on email notifications in your settings.
We encourage you to have a conversation with your student and consider taking advantage of one of these options to prevent a disruption to these communications.

PESH PTSA needs a Volunteer/Chairperson for Reflections 2019-2020. If you're interested, please contact Mona Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org
Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story. Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.
