June 2020 Part 2
ACHIEVING SUCCESS TOGETHER - RÉUSSIR ENSEMBLE
Thank You
As the school year closes out, there will be several changes to our Our House next year.
As mentioned in our previous newsletter, Mr. Brandt will be coming in to replace Mr. Hoyland as principal and Mr. Ramsay will be coming in to replace Mrs. Rathwell.
Next year, Mrs. Repchuck, Mrs. Blatz, Mrs. Oslanski, and Mrs.Powers will not be returning as EAs. Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do for our students. You will certainly be missed.
We will experience a change in our teaching staff next year. Monsieur Djofang, Mr. Warawa, Mr. Leblanc-Little, and Mr. Klein-Fraser will not be returning to Our House. Also, Madame Lecuyer has accepted a transfer to Ecole Sifton School when she returns from her maternity leave.
I would like to thank all parents, guardians, and students who continually make Ecole Charlie Killam School an incredible place to be. The positive student spirit and the incredible community support make ECKS a great place for young people to learn and thrive.
Thank you for making Our House a strong and positive school for our children.
-Stephen Hoyland

Dorna Sandheg- "I received my BSc in 2018 at Faculté Saint-Jean at the University of Alberta and continued my studies in the after-degree program in education where I received my BEd in June 2020. One of the most memorable times during my undergraduate studies was Projet Afrique, a humanitarian project where I, along with a cohort of students from Faculté Saint went to Togo, a small country in West Africa. When not studying or in the classroom, I love to go on hikes, play the ukulele, and serve my community through the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program."
