PH Village
It truly does take a Village to coordinate and provide an education for a well rounded scholar.
This week we definitely will all need to pull together to make it Outstanding. We have many things happening simultaneously pretty much every day of the week. Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday will be for Common Assessments. TELPAS Calibrations will also be happening after school or during planing/conference times (please coordinate with Bruce). On Friday we get to share our 5th Graders presenting their IB Exhibition! Many of you have graciously volunteered to be Exhibition Mentors and our students are ready!! Our District Trustee Marshall will also be joining us for a short time to view our Exhibitions.
I was able to take the opportunity to visit most of the projects and had the scholars present their work to me. They were very excited to share and were able to respond to some fairly tough follow questions after their presentation.
Following IB Exhibition we have our next PTA Movie Night also on Friday! We are gearing up for an exciting week!
As mentioned on Friday, staff who stay and volunteers to assist the IB Exhibition or Movie night (till the end) will be able to have 2 Jean Pass days. Anyone who stays for both the IB AND Movie Night will be able to wear Jeans for 2 weeks!!
In closing, thank you to Grimm, Woods, and Mclendon! We have reinstated the discipline committee to help make collaborative decisions on managing high need students and incidents. They have been vital to working student disciplinary referrals and will continue through this year.
It does take a Village!! And I am proud to be in this one!
Onward!
