Lincoln and Page Elementary Virtual Concerts
Middle School Speech Contest. Students in Mr. Bruck, Mr. Lehman, and Mrs. Otting's language arts classes competed in a middle school speech contest. This year's topic was, "A Landmark or Symbol that Represents America". Congratulations to all contestants. This year's winners are Hannah Schmidt 8th grade "The Golden Gate Bridge," Delainee Anderson 8th grade "The Declaration of Independence," Carden Nerem 8th Grade "The Bald Eagle." There are more highlights of the event on BMS TV.
Seniors and Parents
Don't forget about THE LAST DOLLAR Scholarship. This is a state-funded program for Iowans who:
- Are recent high school graduates enrolling in an eligible program full-time OR recent high school graduates who are enrolling in an eligible program part-time and are employed in an approved work-based learning program OR adult learners (20 and older) starting an eligible program at least part-time
- Have applied for all other available aid
- Plan to earn a credential for a high-demand job
This program, as the name implies, is intended to cover any remaining gap between federal and state grants/scholarships and tuition and qualified fees. Credentials include postsecondary certificates, diplomas and associate degrees. Click this link for more information.

The Active scholarship list is the first sheet, showing just the scholarship title, with a link to the application, and the deadline. At the bottom, you can tab to sheet 2. This sheet contains information about each scholarship. It describes the scholarship including eligibility criteria. Driver's education class
The last class of the school year for Driver’s Ed starts on March 29th. The classes that are offered during the school year this year have the flexibility to work at your own pace online. We anticipate this class filling up as well so encourage you to sign up early. If you have questions please reach out to Mr. Bruck at dbruck@boone.k12.ia.us

A Message from The Boone Hope Foundation Board: Our organization is dedicated to supporting students, staff, and families within our school district community! We provide assistance in emergency type situations relating to shelter, food, clothing, medical, and transportation.
