NATIONAL YOUTH CONFIDENCE DAY - October 20
Building a framework of positive role models is vital to developing responsible, confident young adults. National Youth Confidence Day celebrates the energy, spirit and potential of young people. The day is an acknowledgment of all they will accomplish, respectively. Guidance, leadership and mentors will help light the path, indeed. Ask a PaTTAN consultant about Presuming Competence training, which leads to building confidence in our students!

The National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement (NAFSCE) has introduced its Family Engagement Core Competencies. The purpose was to create a nationally agreed-upon and unifying set of professional standards aligned to roles within specific fields and organizations (e.g., educators, parent associations, administrators) or to particular points in children's development.
