Spring is an exciting time in the Guidance department! We are already beginning to prepare for the 2018-2019 school year. Parents of 8th grade students: May will be here before we know it! In the coming weeks, your students will be coming home with information regarding registration for Warren Central. We have several dates in February that will allow your students to meet with counselors from Warren Central to discuss scheduling. In March, the 8th grade students will be touring WCHS and the Warren County Area Technology Center.
Second quarter report cards went home with students Thursday, January 11. Please take this opportunity to review your child progress and make appointments to speak with teachers regarding classroom performance. Moss will be hosting another Parent Conference opportunity in February, be on the lookout for specific details.
PBIS
In order to support our implementation of Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports, students recently learned a new way to address disrespectful behavior. Students will utilize the Stop, Walk and Talk process when they feel a peer is being disrespectful. This 3-step process equips students with tools to self-advocate in a positive manner. We will be reviewing this procedure throughout the school year. Watch this brief video for more information on Stop, Walk and Talk.
