Welcome back everyone! We hope you have enjoyed your break spending time with family and friends, getting outside and active, and resting and relaxing.
As we are nearing the beginning of school, we wanted to send out some information concerning our return to school in person on August 11th. Most importantly, we wanted to highlight what you can do BEFORE Walk-Through in preparation for the start of school and to make it even easier for you when we start to come back. The Office has resumed normal hours of 8-3 starting on Monday, August 1st. If you have any immediate questions, please email pencen@mdusd.org or moserc@mdusd.org.
Below you will find several resources, links, and directions to support your student coming back to school on August 11th. There is a lot of information below, please be sure to read and click through it all to ensure you have all the necessary information. We are SUPER excited to welcome your students back for the 2022-23 school year! Have a wonderful last bit of summer!
Walk-Through Hours:
August 4th: 4-7pm
August 5th: 10-1pm
Walk-Through Steps
All necessary requirements for Walk-Through can be completed ahead of time online to help alleviate waiting/standing in line on our walk-through date. Textbooks and Chromebooks will all be distributed during the first couple of days of school. PE clothes are available for purchase through our online store ahead of time (see below for the link). School pictures will also be taken during the school day at a later date. If you are unable to complete the below requirements before Walk-Through you will need to attend Walk-Through IN PERSON on Aug 4th or 5th. The following are requirements to complete the Walk-Through process:
Data Confirmation: All adults/guardians are required to confirm their students' information in AERIES (Homelink). This can be done by an adult logging into their Homelink Parent account. An email address and Homelink Verification Code (request here) are required in order to view your information. All necessary directions can be found below by clicking the appropriate "buttons" or attached pdf's.
NO STUDENT WILL RECEIVE THEIR SCHEDULE UNTIL THEIR DATA IS CONFIRMED via HOMELINK, ONLINE, BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN. (*Schedules may be viewable early for those who complete this process ahead of time, but may be subject to change.)
Address Verification (6th Grade Students ONLY): Families must provide the required documentation (found here) to verify their address with the office. Form can be found below.
NO STUDENT WILL RECEIVE THEIR SCHEDULE UNTIL THEIR ADDRESS IS VERIFIED WITH THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION WITH OUR OFFICE STAFF.
Student Immunizations must be on file at the school prior to students starting 7th grade at Pine Hollow. (*Notifications were sent out to families who do not have immunization records on file and phone calls were made this week.)
NO STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO START CLASSES WITHOUT THE REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS. [click here for more information]
