Entertainment in the Winter
In the winter the Ojibwe children played a game called the snow snake game . The game is played with fake snakes. The Ojibwe also rode on there birch bark toboggans for fun.
Food in the Winter
In the winter the Ojibwe moved away from others because food was vary scarce. Men and children hunted in the winter sebaceous it was harder to get enough food for there family.
They hunted with spears to kill the animal. They had to hunt in groups to kill the animal one spear was not enough. When the Ojibwe family had too much food the women cut the meat into strips and dried the meat over the fire. If the Ojibwe family did not have any food the neighbors would give food the the hungry family .
