Materials needed:
sphagnum moss
sharp knife
toothpick
floral ties
aluminum foil
plastic wrap
How to do it:
1. Use the knife to make a 1 inch upward slash.
2. Wedge a toothpick in the slash to keep it from closing.
3. Wrap the sphagnum moss around the cut.
4. Secure the moss with floral ties.
5. Cover the entire thing in plastic wrap to conserve moisture.
6. Cover the entire thing in aluminum foil to prevent sunscald.
