Students dropping a year long course at this point in the year are not able to switch into another year long course. Dropping a level, from Honors to Academic, may be possible if space permits. The deadline to drop a course without penalty, meaning not showing on the transcript, will be November 21st. Courses dropped beyond this date with show as a Withdraw Pass(WP) or Withdraw Fail(WF) on the transcript. The WP or WF is not calculated in the GPA and will not impact GPA. With the upcoming school days off things can get crazy with remembering deadline dates. Senior Parents: Please post the dates below on your refrigerator, household mirrors, Xbox one or Playstations. From Our Security Team!
Please remind your students that their school devices are constantly screened. This is accomplished by a monitoring service called Gaggle, which monitors, for example, the content of students’ email (Gmail), Google Drive, Google Chat and Office 365 OneDrive. Everyone has signed a technology use agreement at the beginning of the year. Review with your student(s) good practices and proper use on a quarterly basis. This can greatly help advert potential issues.
