BWMS Parent Update

Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
BWMS Community,
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has provided many quotes that have inspired and pushed me to be a better person, especially at different points in my life. This year, in the midst of a global pandemic and the countless challenges faced in today's education, I think the quote below sends a clear message. We must keep pushing forward and do the best we can given the circumstance to inspire and guide each student to his/her maximum potential. This is the BWMS One More Mindset in action. May his words continue to inspire us to be better today than we were yesterday.
Have a great weekend!
~Mr. Josh Frame

Washington D.C. Update for 8th Grade Parents
Attention 8th Grade Parents:
With the ongoing COVID-19 challenges, school leaders have made the decision to cancel the trip to Washington D.C. in spring. Undoubtedly we know this will be disappointing to many, although we are confident it is appropriate under these unique circumstances.
Considering the latest state and national information and in partnership with Prodigy Student Travel, we believe current restrictions would drastically reduce our ability to maintain the programming and functions we have come to know and love about our 8th grade trip. Ultimately, the health and well-being for our students and staff led us to this decision. We know that the Washington D.C. trip is a landmark event for our students and we are sad that they will miss out on this opportunity but believe this is the right decision at this time.
Feel free to contact KellyRobinson@bwls.net or JoshFrame@bwls.net with any questions.

We would ask that families that if they have a positive case in their home to use this link as well as notifying the district nurse at megantruax@bwls.net.
