What are polynomials?
An expression that can have constants, variables and exponents, that can be combined using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Vocabulary
- Factoring-A factorable polynomial with integer coefficients is factored completely if it is written as a product of unfactorable polynomials with integer coefficients.
- Degree-The power of the exponent.
- Standard form of a polynomial-Has the terms in descending order by degree.
- Degree of a polynomial-Is the largest degree of any term of the polynomial.
- Monomial-A number, variable, or the or the product of a number and variable(s).
