Ender's Game
By: Orson Scott Card
WHY YOU SHOULD READ ENDER'S GAME:
I think you should read Ender's Game because it is very interesting, suspending, and keeps you wanting more. It tells a story that gets you thinking about what the future might be like, it sort of keeps you wondering about what happens next. This New York Times bestseller is really amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone.
QUOTES:
Some interesting quotes from this book: "Perhaps it's impossible to wear an identity without becoming what you pretend to be.” "An enemy Ender Wiggin. Whispered the old man. "I am your enemy, the first one you've ever had who was smarter than you. There is no teacher but the enemy. No one but the enemy will tell you what the enemy is going to do. No one but the enemy will ever teach you how to destroy and conquer. Only the enemy shows you where you are weak. Only the enemy tells you where he is strong. And the rules of the game are what you can do to him and what you can stop him from doing to you. I am your enemy from now on. From now on I am your teacher.” Also a review of this book from editors: "an affecting novel full of surprises. Card never makes the mistake of patronizing or sentimentalizing his hero." -The New York Times Book Review.
