Relieving Stress

Why is stress bad for your health? What can it lead to?
Stress can become chronic, it can be positive and a negative feelings. Stress can lead to physical symptoms including headaches, upset stomachs, high blood pressure, chest pain, and problems sleeping. Stress in teens can lead to major or severe depression and anxiety. It can become overwhelming leading to pain of any kind. Many people have heart attacks because of being very over stressed.

Stress Symptoms

My top stressors
Arguments with friends
Arguments with my friends really bring me a lot of stress. I won't be able to move on with my day knowing I have a close friend mad at me or arguing with me. Having that reminded thought in the back of my mind really prevents me from moving on. So removing a friend from my life is way worse for me.
Too much homework given
Most of the time my certain teachers give us a crazy amount of homework and stress. I dedicate myself to finish all the homework they give us that certain day to finish it, even if it means going to bed at 1 am which has happened before. I don't want to disappoint my teachers by not doing my homework.
Family deaths
I've personally have had many family deaths, when you have someone so close to you die and you cant do anything about that. It kinda makes you emotionally drained and keeps you from doing the things you enjoy so very much. Especially when you would like to see them before they die or at least their funeral. But when the family member is thousands of miles away all you can do is morn in grief.
Personal relaxers for stress and avoiding stress
What I do to avoid stress on a daily basis
- Take a 30+ minute to take a break from homework and relax
- Eat something
- Watch T.V. for awhile
- Lay down for 15 minutes
- Talk to a friend
- Get on my phone for a few minutes
- Take Advil if needed
My solutions for personal stress
Usually I do the following 15 personal solutions for my stress
- Watching an enjoyable T.V. show
- Go out with friends
- Have some alone time
- Listen to music
- Draw
- Read
- Take baths
- Take nightly drives
- Take walks
- Face cleanser
- Dance
- Talk to friends on face time
- Do my hair
- Go shopping
- Go out to eat alone or with friends
