Assignment 7C
Clarissa Loftin
Andromeda Galaxy
When observing the Andromeda Galaxy from afar you see stars but when you look closely you see one very elongated galaxy, the Andromeda galaxy, among the stars. The galaxy is difficult to spot, but the closer you look you will spot a disc with an elliptical shape.
Pleiades
When viewing Pleiades from afar you will only see what looks like two bright stars in the distance. There will be one larger star on the right and one smaller less bright star to the left. However if you were to look at the star closely with a large telescope you would see that this is not two stars but a cluster of stars that shine cery brightly in the night sky.
