Progress...
Next week's tests will be another chance for us to see how far we have come and where we need to go.
And remember our focus this year is that every student makes progress. Every student. Students that are already high performing need to make progress. Struggling students need to make progress and everyone in between. We can't remain stagnant, remaining stagnant is the equivalent to moving backwards.
And we don't move backwards at Phillips...Believe it!

This group of 5th grade boys at Phillips Elementary deserve to be bragged on today!
A first grader came into the Book Fair this morning with only a few coins. These boys all huddled around him and as they all broke up the first grader emerged with the biggest smile on his face. These boys had given all the spare change they had to help him buy something from the book fair. He ended up with $8. They made one little boy so very HAPPY!
