Bethlehem Area School District Update January 8, 2021

Message from Dr. Roy - January 5th

Hello BASD Families,

Happy New Year. I hope you had a safe and relaxing holiday break. We continue to need your help to make sure we avoid any spread of the COVID virus in schools.

I want to remind all parents and guardians to please call or email your child's school nurse immediately if your child tests positive for COVID-19 or to email our Supervisor of Health Services Dr. Kim Zsitek-Brannan at

Our BASD Health Services team will provide helpful information to you and will complete contact tracing in order to prevent the spread of the virus in schools.

Together, we will continue to work to prevent the spread of the virus in schools while maintaining our hybrid model of learning.
