Congrats to our Q2 CLAWS Winners
We want to send a huge congratulations to our more than 120 scholars who earned CLAWS Awards for the second quarter. These scholars were selected for exemplifying exceptional character, leadership, attitude, work ethic, and service. After receiving their awards, they were treated to cupcakes and game time. Spring WILDLife Clubs Coming Soon
The Willard Middle School PTA is excited to kick off the spring 2023 session of WILDLife Clubs. Please visit WILDLife Spring 2023 for more information. Navigate to the Registration tab at the top of the page to see which clubs will be available. Early registration for PTA members opens on Sunday, February 5. General registration opens on Monday, February 6. Clubs will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting the week of February 27 and are expected to run for eight to 10 sessions.
Last Call for Yearbook Sales
We wanted to send out a final reminder regarding the purchase of yearbooks for the 2022-2023 school year, because we are down to our last 200! If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please visit the Yearbook Order Center. Once there, you will need to enter our school code, which is 17606. The cost for this literary gem is $30.
Upcoming Parent Seminar Series
On Thursday, February 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the LCPS Department of Student Services is offering a workshop to parents focusing on education about eating disorders through awareness of signs and symptoms, risk factors, and diagnoses in children and adolescents. United for Wellness Conference
On Saturday, January 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Lightridge High School will host the One LCPS: United for Wellness Conference. More than 40 presenters will be providing strategies to help promote youth mental health and wellness. This resource fair will include raffle prizes and refreshments, with local businesses on site as well. To learn more, please click here.
PTA Spirit Nights & More
Please enjoy dinner with your family at the Stone Ridge Vocelli's on Tuesday, January 31. By purchasing a delicious meal, you are able to help our school as well, because a portion of every purchase will support our PTA. In addition, the Ashburn Ice House will host a spirit night on Friday, February 24, starting at 6:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the night will go to our PTA. Last, but not least, please consider joining our PTA to gain early access to registration for the upcoming WILDLife Spring Clubs, which will start next month.

CAMPUS Application Available
CAMPUS (College Achievement & Multicultural Program for Unique Students) is a high school college access program designed to remove barriers and/or meet the specific needs of first-generation college-bound students. The CAMPUS application window is open now through Friday, March 17. Students can apply to CAMPUS online through the Student Opportunities Application on LCPS GO.
