We are rapidly coming to the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Here are a few reminders:

A Message from Our Clinic
As a reminder, all medication must be picked up at the end of the school year. Forms were sent home in your child's Friday folder. Please complete and send back to school by Friday, May 14. Any medication left after the close of the school year will be discarded. . As a reminder, medications may not be stored in the clinic over the summer and students may NOT transport medications home.
Digital SEA (Summer Enrichment+ Acceleration) Program Option
This self-paced digital format is accessed through the Student Portal on the Summer Enrichment and Acceleration eCLASS page. (June 14-July 16)

Media Center News
All Media Center books are due back on Thursday, May 13th. Be sure to look under beds, couches and car seats for those missing library materials.
Summer Lunch Program
In order to get your box, you MUST register by clicking the link below. This will allow them to make sure we have a box for your kids each week. Register once per family.
Get Georgia Reading!
The Get Georgia Reading program will be funded again this year at the state level Get Georgia Reading 2021 begins on May 3. Provided by Renaissance, the program gives all children, parents/guardians, and educators free access to thousands of digital books and news articles through July 31, 2021. Get Georgia Reading supports student learning now and all summer with a diverse library of 6,400+ digital books from myON News.

FINAL CALL FOR 2021-2022 PTA BOARD NOMINATIONS
We are looking for individuals who are interested in serving on the PTA Board as President, Vice President, or Treasurer for next year. See the attached "Duties of Officers" section of the Taylor PTA Bylaws for more details.
If you are interested, please contact Dionne Dorsey (ddorsey@ketaylorpta.com) and someone from the nominating committee will contact you.
The last day to submit nominations is Monday, May 17. Candidates will be posted on Tuesday, May 18, and voting will occur during our General Meeting on Tuesday, May 25.
Student with Disabilities Parent Survey
Parent Involvement Survey
We invite all families of students with disabilities to complete the Parent Involvement Survey. It is available in English and Spanish through the online link from January 19-May 31, 2021. For parents with more than one child receiving SPED services, the parent can complete a separate survey for each child. all responses are anonymous.
