Around and Around

Around and Around
Walking the now empty hall slowly, carefully, guarded.
All alone thinking about the taunting.
Around and around she goes, yet going nowhere.
Walking in circles going nowhere.
Then it's as if the world has stopped.
White walls reflect the tears on her face.
She was nothing and was going nowhere.
That crooked smile comes closer and closer.
Everything surrounds her,
Lockers laugh when she passes by.
Closer and closer she gets to the end.
Walking the now empty hall abandoned, fearful, gone.
All alone recalling the taunting.
Around and around she goes, yet not going anywhere.
