FAFSA Workshops

FAFSA Workshops January 17th and 18th

Mrs. Lott from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be on campus taking 1:1 appointments for individualized assistance with completing the FAFSA. Please bring your student, their Chromebook or registered device, and your 2021 W-2 forms. Student MUST be present with parent in order to create an FSA ID which allows parent to proceed in completing the FAFSA.

Class of 2023 -Senior Sunrise

RHHS will host a Senior Sunrise in Wildcat Stadium on Friday, January 27. Seniors can watch the sunrise in the football stadium with their fellow classmates. Students can arrive at 6:45 am and will be dismissed at 7:20 am for 1st block. Doughnuts will be provided. Form closes at 3 pm on January 20.

Prom 2023

Prom 2023 will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 7:30-10:30pm at the Savannah Trade and Convention Center on Hutchinson Island. All RHHS Juniors and Seniors who have paid their current year dues and are not on the Obligations List are eligible to attend. All students must register to receive a ticket using the Prom Ticket Registration form (Form will open January 17). Please click HERE to find out all the important information concerning Prom.

Academic and Pathways Open House

Come Explore the Opportunities in #ouRHouse: On Monday, January 23, 2023, from 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm, Richmond Hill High School will be hosting our Academic & Pathways Open House for all students. Rising 9th graders & returning RHHS students will have the chance to explore clubs, sports, & extra-curricular activities as well as speak to our Pathway teachers in our CTAE, Fine Arts, and Foreign Language departments. Our goal is for students to be aware of all of the opportunities that RHHS offers so that they can fully immerse themselves in their high school careers. Rising 9th graders will have the chance to speak to 9th grade teachers, and students interested in enrolling in Advanced Placement courses will be able to listen to information presented by our AP teachers so that they understand the expectations of our Advancement Placement courses. We look forward to welcoming you all in #ouRHouse.

Washington Youth Tour

Washington Youth Tour is a leadership experience that gives high school juniors a one-week, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. That’s right – all expenses! In addition, students who are chosen and go on the tour receive a $2,500 scholarship during their senior year. The deadline to apply is February 5, 2023

Counselors

RHHS has a strong team of school counselors to support our students. Students are assigned a counselor based on their last name. All school counselors at Richmond Hill High School will provide developmentally appropriate counseling services based on data-driven practices to remove barriers to students' academic achievement and promote a safe and secure environment for all students.
