MidSouth Teller Positions Available....Please share with your students
MidSouth is ready to start recruitment for next year’s tellers. They will need to hire 2 students. The credit union hours will be changing to 12:30 pm -4:30 pm, which will help with the high school scheduling. Please look at the students you would recommend for this position and share the link below with them. The Pay is $8.00 per hour and they will be required to work when school is not in session, except bank holidays (yes, this means all of our breaks). There will be a 2-3 week, 40 hour per week, training that is required (non-negotiable) that is scheduled for July after the 4th holiday.
Requirements to apply:
- 16 years of age
- Proper identification for I-9 verification
- Junior or Senior in high school
- No serious discipline actions - disqualified if record of fighting, serious student incivility, etc.
- Exemplary attendance - no more than 3-5 absences. Willing to discuss extreme circumstances
- GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Reliable transportation to and from work (we were able to be creative with the buses that come and go from home schools this year)
- Drug screen (employer expense)
- Completed at least one CTAE course in: Banking, Finance, Business or Marketing

Howard HS:
- Increase Advisory Board Participation by 50%.
- Increase CTSO active membership to 80% of total membership.
- Identify and run a DECA State Officer.
- Increase the EOPA Pass Rate to 85%.
- Increase the Pathway Completers retention rate for the Programming Pathway to 50%
- Increase WBL Enrollment to 34 different students who are either internships or co-ops.
- Incorporate the CTAE "What is Your Super Power?" theme into all CTAE initiative and events.
