Join Us for 130th Year Celebration - Saturday January 13th

Hadfield School has been serving students since January 15, 1888. To celebrate this milestone Hadfield will be hosting a Winter Carnival on Saturday January 13th from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. This event is open to everyone. Click HERE for all the details.

A huge thank you to the Hadfield PTO for helping with this event. Our wonderful PTO also purchased 130th Anniversary t-shirts for all the students and staff to wear during a special 130th Anniversary Student Inquiry event on January 11th. Students are asked to wear the t-shirt again when they attend the celebration on Saturday January 13th.

Everyone at Hadfield encourages you to attend on Saturday January 13th. Invite your family, friends, neighbors and any Hadfield alumni you know to this fun family event. We hope to see you there!

Student Led Parent/Teacher Conferences February 15th

Parent teacher conferences at Hadfield School are actually a time when the teachers do very little talking. Instead, the students run the conferences, informing their parents about how they're doing, what their goals are going forward, and what kind of learners they are. Student led conferences are Thursday February 15th from 4:15pm - 7:45pm. More details will be sent home in the next few weeks.

School Choice

If you are considering attending a school within the district that is not your neighborhood school, you must complete an In-District Transfer Request form which can be accessed online at http://tinyurl.com/SDW17-18Choice. The school choice application period will open on December 1, 2017, at 8:00 am and will run through 4:30 pm on January 22, 2018.

Email confirmations are sent confirming the application has been received.

NOTE: Families with students enrolling in kindergarten that are not in the School District 4K program or students coming from a private/parochial school should complete the enrollment process at the School District of Waukesha Enrollment Office

located in room 124 at the Lindholm Building, 222 Maple Avenue, Waukesha, WI, 53186.

4K enrollment for 2018-2019 ends on Friday February 2nd. On February 9, 2018, the School District of Waukesha will hold a 4K Enrollment Lottery at 2:00 PM, at the District Administration Offices, Room 108 Lindholm, 222 Maple Ave. Notifications of placement, based on the lottery pull for 4K will be sent through US Mail on or around February 19, 2018.

4K How & When to Enroll

There is no school from Monday January 22nd and Tuesday January 23rd.

SHAPE America recommends school-age children accumulate at least 60 minutes and

up to several hours of physical activity per day. Each bout of physical activity should be

followed by cool-down stretches that help reduce soreness and avoid injury. Happy exercising!

Check out the JANUARY physical activity calendar.
