A Message from Mr. Hoog
Hello BSE Families!
I am pleased to share that ILEARN testing is over. I am thankful for our wonderful students and staff for their tremendous efforts with the ILEARN testing process! At this time, I am not exactly sure when results may be available.
I would like to thank all of our families that have provided snacks for our staff over the course of the past several weeks. Please know your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated!
Please be sure to read the remainder of this newsletter as we have a lot of exciting things going on during the last three weeks the year.
We appreciate you!
Mr. Hoog

Field Day
BSE Field Day is just around the corner! Kindergarten and 3rd/4th graders will participate in the morning while 1st/2nd graders will participate in the afternoon.
To make it easier to distinguish one grade from another, we're asking students to wear a specific color shirt:
- Kindergarten = purple
- First grade = yellow field trip shirts
- Second grade = green shirts
- Third grade = maroon shirts
- Fourth grade = light blue field trip shirts
Don't forget the sunscreen, tennis shoes, and to have your kids dress appropriately.
All volunteer spots are currently filled - thank you! As a reminder you must have the required SafeVisitor background check on file in order to volunteer. We also ask that, for safety reasons, no siblings attend. We cannot allow visitors so you must be signed up to volunteer in order to attend.
Contact Amy Stempkowski (dr_amyroache@hotmail.com) with questions. Thank you!
