Stoller Families,
As we head into the week before Winter Break, I want to thank you for your support and cooperation as we have been adjusting and tightening up some past practices and flow of visitors. All this is being done in order make sure we are doing our best at maintaining a secure building for your children.
The district has begun some preparation for installing entry doors in the main office. I am hoping to have a lot of this work done during Winter Break. Until then please be mindful of the extra work these changes are creating for our office staff. We are also looking to move the health room and registrar to the main office area. This will allow us to be able to have services more centralized and efficient for our students and families.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Veronica Galvan
Principal

Parent Volunteers - Important!
An important message for our many wonderful parent volunteers. When you went through your background check you would have received a message from Better Impact asking you to set up your profile. If you have not set up your profile in the system you will not be able to enter the building. Please go to MyVolunteerPage.com and make sure that you have set up your profile before your next scheduled volunteer visit.
Thank you for all you do!

Free eBooks & Winter Break Reading
Winter Break is coming, and we all want students to keep reading. Ebooks are available from the Beaverton School District using students’ library accounts.
“Sora, by Overdrive” is a new app that simplifies access to BSD library ebooks. It is created by the same ebook company that provides Libby for the WCCLS ebooks. With a Washington County library card you are able to access ebooks from both systems using just the Sora app. For information on how to use the App, please check out the Sora App Information Handout.
Fair Housing Poster Contest

Last Reminder...
Stoller’s next Staff Appreciation day is a "Cookie Exchange" being held on Wednesday, December 19th. Volunteers are invited to donate cookies (homemade or store bought) so that staff can make up a plate full of treats to take home. Please drop off cookies in the front office anytime during school hours on Monday, December 17th or up until 9am on Wednesday, December 19th.
Please note on the sign up (link below) that we are asking 60 people for two dozen cookies each! We really need 120 plates in total so all staff can create a plate to take home and share.
When you deliver donations, please consider bringing them on a paper or plastic plate that can be thrown away or recycled.
Please sign up HERE to donate!
After-School Activity Opportunities
When the weather gets snowy or icy, school schedules may be affected. The District generally posts the announcement of delayed school opening or school closure by 5:15 a.m. All Portland Metro area media outlets announce the information on TV newscasts and online.
The District makes decisions based on the ability to operate school buses safely; the ability for students and parents to get to school safely, and the ability for employees to get to work safely and on time. The decision that is made will be for the entire District. As always, parents may choose to make different decisions based on their particular location.
The District will notify parents and staff via SchoolMessenger with a Non-School Hours Emergency message. Please manage your communication preferences in SchoolMessenger InfoCenter.
