SJS Peek at the Week
Week of September 23rd, 2019
Sixth week of school....
Service One Restoration Company was here a few days this week helping to clean and control the moisture levels in the community room and basements. Once there is less moisture the base boards will be replaced in the community room. We are hoping to accomplish this on Friday. I'll send a Dojo notification this weekend keeping you informed of the progress and where before/after school care will meet. If the base boards are still not finished we will continue to have before/after school care in the gym.
Band began today and the kids are over-the-top excited. It is fun to hear the unique sounds coming from down the hallway as they learn to play their instruments.
Today is our 1st house event where we will break off into teams and build school community!! Its always a loud but fun time. House T-Shirts can be ordered through the office for $12. Please call Denise in the office if you would like to order one for your child.
Tonight is curriculum night from 6-7pm where you will hear about grade level curriculum and expectations for the school year. ALL ARE WELCOME! See the invite below for the agenda. Side note: Ms. Shambaugh is out sick today and not well enough to attend this evening. We will be posting her presentation to class Dojo to view. Please private message her with any additional questions.
Please continue to use this weekly newsletter as our major way to communicate from school to home. This newsletters intended purpose is to help our families keep up-to-date on current school related events and important dates to mark in your calendars. Newsletters will be no longer be printed on paper. This newsletter is available in a digital form only, hoping to help reduce the quantity of paper we purchase. We will post weekly newsletters to class Dojo as well as Facebook for easy convenience and accessibility. Please continue to call me or the office if any questions or concerns arise. Thank you for entrusting your child/children to our care.
May God continue to bestow his blessings upon us all!
Peace and joy,
Mrs. Rybarczyk
