Afternoon everyone,

I hope you have all had a great week and are getting ready to enjoy a relaxing holiday break. I have managed to spend some extra time in classes over the past week and it is great to see students engaged in their learning across the school. A huge thanks needs to go to Mrs Murphy for organising her Science Week activities. We have had fun with bubbles and paper planes and we look forward to our whole school incursions next week!

On Wednesday I met with our Architect and Capital Consultant to discuss the findings of staff and student workshops, as well as their design ideas. I would again like to invite all parents who are interested to our workshop next Tuesday. The details are below.

This weekend the parish will be hosting our Year 6 Confirmation Commitment Mass and all are welcome. Father G is turning this into a School Community Mass and will have a sausage sizzle afterwards.

Finally, as the end of term approaches, I have been speaking to all our students about treating each other with Kindness and Respect. Our teachers are discussing this in class and I would really appreciate it if this could be backed up at home as we know that students are starting to get tired and at times, make choices they wouldn’t normally make. We want to give them the best chance we can to have a fun, happy and calm finish to the term and know that all the adults in their lives are here to support them.
